I'm James, a commercial filmmaker, DoP, photographer and CAA certified drone pilot based in Cardiff, South Wales.

I have over 10 years' experience in the commercial film industry, with 5 of these running successful video production companies and 2.5 years as a full time Director of Photography.

I specialise in creating engaging, results driven content for your business that will set you apart from the competition.

Case Study Featuring Iolo Williams

My Role - Full Service

Caerphilly County Borough Council approached Ffocws Media to create a series of 6 videos which encompassed the work and impact of the award winning Sustaining Caerphilly's Landscape project.

I created a series of 5 case studies highlighting 5 key parts of the project and then finally, with the help of TV presenter Iolo Williams, produced an overview video which summed up all of the projects into a longer form piece of content.

The goal was to have an in depth look into each contributors actions within the project and the benefits they had brought to the landscape and its users by doing by doing so. Ffocws Media recommended a series of 2-4 minute case studies to look in depth at each case study.

Cinematic Promotional Video

Leading cycling retailer Ride Bikes Wales approached me to produce a cinematic promotional video for their store which highlighted several of the popular cycling disciplines and customers they serve.

Ffocws Media suggested linking these disciplines back to the store and showing how the shop interreacts directly with their customers. This led to the video showing the 'journey' of each cyclist and how it always leads back to the shop - where they receive the best service from their staff.
